oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and syngas in large quantities from
multiple production sources to major customers in the chemicals,
petrochemicals, refining and steel industries. Our pipeline
operations and industrial gas production facilities are closely
monitored 24/7 within our leading-edge operations control center
located in Houston, Texas. Our operations control group monitors
over 89,000 data points and assists with product supply and
coordination. We are constantly optimizing our supply network to
provide high reliability and energy efficiencies allowing Air
Liquide to adjust supply needs more quickly and effectively
enabling growth to our customers.

ResponsibilitiesThe individual will perform (but not be limited to)
the following responsibilities for the Norco and Taft sites:
Plan and coordinate the maintenance and repair of production
related equipment at Taft and Norco Plants including writing
purchase orders and receiving the purchase orders.
Manage and maintain the PM compliance for maintenance and
operations.
Order the necessary parts and/or equipment from designated vendors
to complete a job task.
Maintain specific stock levels of critical parts.
Work with contractors on various repairs and projects in the plant
by scheduling vendors, developing scopes for bid walks, writing POs
and receiving them.
Keep all tools and equipment in a safe working condition.
Work with zone maintenance for TAR support
Maintain equipment files
Work with field sourcing specialist for items over $10K and hard to
locate items.
Complies with all Regulatory Requirements
Fully supports, accurately completes, maintains, instills, and
reinforces Air Liquide Large Industries US LPs Health, Safety, and
Environmental policies / procedures and relevant documentation at
the facility
Performs job duties in compliance with all local and federal
governmental regulations (FDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, cGMP, etc) , and all
Air Liquide policies and procedures (including MOCs, PSSRs, RCFAs,
and QIRs, etc)
Assists manager in meeting Health, Safety, and Environmental
Requirements
Works safely and complies with company safety
standardsRequirementsHigh School diploma or GED; Trade school is
preferred
5+ yrs experience in industrial plant maintenance desired
Ability to understand and comply with the established Quality
System and to report any quality deficiencies and stop any plant
operation if it is compromising the quality process.
Ability to understand and comply with all safety regulations and
guidelines while on company and/or customer property.
Possess a full range of motion; ability to lift 50 pounds.
Strong communication skills in English and the ability to
accurately perform basic arithmetic calculations.
Exhibit safety attitude.
Desires to be a leader and grow within the organization
Capable of travel out of town to when needed especially for
training.
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems (4160+ volts)
within a production plant environment with the ability to maintain
and repair systems as needed
Strong experience maintaining and repairing pumps, vacuums, valves,
piping, compressors; cryogenic liquid pump experience is preferred
(large equipment).
Strong knowledge, skills, and experience using a wide variety of
tools and maintenance and repair equipment
On call with travel to the sites as needed for plant issues and
equipment breakdowns
Computer literate with knowledge of basic business or maintenance
software (Maximo, Google, Oracle, MS Projects, etc
Capable of coordinating and supervising repair teams from multiple
contractors at the same time.
Supervisory/Management experience
