Pontchartrain Partners, LLC is seeking Skilled Construction Workers to join our Vertical Construction Team. We are looking for individuals with expertise in improving state-of-the-art buildings, especially industrial roofs. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working on lifts and with rigging. Who are we? Pontchartrain Partners, LLC, founded in 2009, is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business that is based out of New Orleans, Louisiana. We specialize in Heavy Civil and Marine Construction, Coastal Restoration, Disaster Response, and Facility Support.
Pay: $ 16 - $ 20 / hour

  • Conduct work with proper protective equipment and safety restraints
  • Operate lifts
  • Pull Geotextile Fabric
  • Lift heavy loads up to 70 lbs and navigate construction job site terrain
  • Operate heavy machinery, including construction vehicles
  • Identify utility lines
  • Perform setup and cleanup tasks at job site
  • Direct traffic when necessary to ensure safety of pedestrians, motorists and work crew
  • Back-fill trenches and pits when necessary
  • Provide labor support as needed for specialty crew
  • Perform general maintenance of construction equipment and vehicles
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Construction industry experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle
  • Comfort working in high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations
  • Keen attention to safety and overall work environment
