Electrical Engineer - REMOTE Job Summary*
We are seeking a skilled Marine Electrical Engineer to join our
dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the
design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for
various marine vessels and offshore structures. This role requires
a strong understanding of marine electrical engineering principles
and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary
team to deliver high-quality solutions to our clients.
*Marine Electrical Engineer - REMOTE Responsibilities*
* Develop and design electrical systems for new and existing marine
vessels, including power distribution, lighting, communications,
and control systems.
* Prepare and review detailed electrical engineering drawings,
specifications, and technical reports.
* Oversee and coordinate electrical engineering aspects of marine
projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and
to the required standards.
* Ensure all electrical designs and installations comply with
relevant industry standards, regulations, and classification
society requirements (e.g., Conduct testing and troubleshooting of
electrical systems to identify and resolve issues.
* Provide technical support during the construction, commissioning,
and operational phases of projects.
* Stay updated with the latest advancements in marine electrical
engineering and apply innovative solutions to improve system
efficiency, reliability, and safety.
*Marine Electrical Engineer - REMOTE Position Requirements*
* 5+ years for Junior, and 10+ years for Senior level position.
* S. degree in Electrical Engineering with knowledge in electrical
distribution system design development, arrangements, component
selection, tradeoff analysis, electrical load analysis, ArcFlash
hazard analysis, coordination studies, FMEA and design integration
is preferred.
* Experience related to marine vessels such as oceangoing vessels,
patrol vessels, offshore support vessels, research vessels, tugs,
and barges is a plus, but is not mandatory.
* Experience with AutoCAD, EZpower, ETAP, MATLAB software is a
plus.
